Our History

In 1999 Michael Pope, the founder of Cyclone Software Solutions, was running a small ecommerce electronics store in Battle Ground Indiana, shop4sound.com (now closed), After investing in several commerical shopping cart systems, he turned to the open source project called The Exchange Project (now osCommerce) and then heavly modified that shopping cart to meet his needs for the electronics store. At its peak in 2002 the store was processing about $3,000 in orders per week not bad for a business run out of his home in Battle Ground.

In 2003 Michael sold the distributor and customer lists to a competing electronics outlet and closed the online store and started his first Design Firm, Xtreme Web Design, creating shopping cart web sites for mutiple clients in the electronics and automotive accessories market, In 2004 the name was changed to Indiana Business Solutions and we branched out to All areas of Web Design and Development. In 2006/7 We created a new branding identiy called Cyclone Software Solutions to advance many custom applications we were developing for a mutilitude of clients, We merged Indiana Business Solutions with Cyclone Software Solutions in to a single entity in 2008.

2010-2011 has given Cyclone Software Solutions great success' and we have many great plans for the furture so stay tuned to this page to what our history unfold
